Give your learning audio a place to belong.

From collecting audio
to understanding every word.

LingoReplay brings audio organization and focused listening to language learners.
Organize, record, listen and practise dictation in one place.

Collect and organize audio

Collect language-learning audio, organize it into folders and arrange playlists. Build your own library from the materials you want to learn with.

Recording and time markers

Record classes or language practice and mark important moments. Recordings stay on your device and can be saved to your library for further listening.

Automatic segments and audio clips

Split long audio into segments and save the parts you want to revisit as clips. Focus your practice on one sentence or passage.

Set repeat counts. Listen closely.

Choose how many times to repeat, move sentence by sentence and adjust the speed. Spend more time on the parts you need.

Word and sentence dictation

Type, check and complete each sentence, or practise vocabulary entries. Replay individual words when word timing is available; sentence-only subtitles replay whole sentences. Resume unfinished practice later.

Subtitle transcription and translation

Transcribe audio, import or edit subtitles and use translation to understand the content. Transcription does not upload audio; language and resource support depends on your device and system.

Detailed dictation records and vocabulary analysis

Review each practice round and sentence result, including first-listen accuracy, corrections and replays. Vocabulary analysis highlights words to revisit, with current statistics and historical snapshots shown separately.

Sentence-by-sentence speaking practice

Pause after a sentence and practise saying it aloud. Use manual or automatic recording, assessment and replay to try again. Speaking practice requires subtitles and microphone permission.

iCloud sync

Pro can sync selected top-level folders and their subfolders, including audio, subtitles, clips and dictation records, to your own iCloud. Use Sync Now to continue on iPhone or iPad.

Take an active part in understanding.

Go beyond listening.
Make it sink in.

Slow down when you need to.
Replay what you want to remember.
Move naturally from listening to practice.

Transcription turns audio into readable subtitles.

Import subtitles or transcribe your audio, then use translation to understand it. Transcription does not upload audio; languages and resources depend on your device and system.

The same material. Your next session.

Available for iPhone and iPad. iPad layouts adapt to larger screens and window sizes for organizing audio, reading subtitles and practising dictation.

iCloud sync, with the scope you choose.

Pro lets you sync to your own iCloud account. Choose top-level folders, including their subfolders, audio, subtitles, clips and dictation records, or sync all materials. Finish syncing on one device, then choose Sync Now on another device using the same account.

Selected materials use your iCloud storage. Turning sync off or narrowing its scope does not delete existing materials.

A few things about LingoReplay.

Who is LingoReplay for?

For language learners who want to organize audio, listen closely and practise dictation. Build your practice around class recordings, conversations or other learning materials.

Is LingoReplay only for Japanese?

LingoReplay is built for language learners, not just Japanese study. This page uses Japanese sample audio. Transcription and translation support depends on the language, device, system and release version.

How can I practise with one audio file?

Organize or record audio, transcribe it and check translations as needed. Use segments and clips to focus on difficult parts, set repeat counts, practise dictation and review the words that need more work.

Can I download LingoReplay now?

LingoReplay has not launched yet. This page introduces the app and offers web demos, with no download available. Features and language support are subject to the release version.
